Wine is one of our favorite foods, but we often don’t think about it that way. We care about the other food we put into our bodies - where it comes from and how it's farmed. We want to know what’s in it and how it is processed. So let's learn what all of this looks like in wine... you may be very surprised at what you find out!
Class will be led by Billie Joyce Helmkay. Billie Joyce is the owner of Thru the Vines a wine education and consulting company. She holds the coveted WSET Diploma, a certificate of viticulture and spent 2 years in the prestigious Masters of Wine Program. Billie has also spent the past 15 years working in the wine industry including restaurants and running retail shops and a small distribution company. Her passion is helping people make more informed wine buying decisions and introduce them to new and different wines that come from smaller producers and winemakers.
